Friends of We Care
Who Are We?
We are everyone who is involved in the foodservice and hospitality industry representing
restaurants, hotels, catering firms, brokers, suppliers, distributors and industry media.
What Do We Do?
We raise funds to assist in sending Easter Seal kids to camps across Canada. These camps
provide special and expensive facilities for the enjoyment of disabled kids.
Since 1983, we have donated over $6,000,000. These funds helped send over 15,000 kids
with disabilities to summer camps all across Canada.
Our Vision...
... that all children with physical disabilities have equal opportunity and access as
children without disabilities.
Our Goal...
In the last few years, Friends of We Care has donated over $565,000 to Easter Seals annually.
The growth of We Care is vital to supporting the Easter Seals "Kids to Camp" program.
We are the national charity of choice for the hospitality and foodservice industry, we intend
to increase our annual contribution to $1,000,000, thereby sending 2,500 Easter Seal kids to
summer camp. With your support, we know we can achieve this goal.
